An Unpublished Masterpiece

YOUNG DRACULA

The tale of Dracula as a boy who preferred milk to blood (inspiration for five BBC-TV series)

A PAIR OF JACKS

One of four outrageous story books about boys and youths named Jack

While the words for this book were mine, the concept was the brainchild of master Australian illustrator Robert Ingpen.

FENELLA MINELLA

Six stories about a small girl to whom voiceless objects and creatures speak: a suit of armour, a snowgirl, a  painting made by her best friend. Even her yet-to-be-born baby brother talks to her.

Three titles unrelated other than by the word 'Young' (Young Dracula was another in this set).

THE GRIFFIN AND OLIVER PIE

The story of a boy who finds a large stone griffin in his overgrown back garden: a bad-tempered griffin with a life of its own, a little magic, and a history to show Oliver Pie while he's in hospital having his tonsils removed.

Three read-aloud picture books gorgeously illustrated by Adrian Reynolds
